Twisted Sister

The Idea—

Create branding for the brewery of my dreams. Feeling more than a little macabre, I chose to create a brewery concept that was based on 1693 Salem Witches. The brand had to feel modern of course, but we included some subtle (and some not-so-subtle) tip-o'-the-hats to the famous period. Including but not limited to: dark eerie scenery, serpent imagery, typefaces which mirror The Fell Types (a famous type family which was popular at the time--created by Dutch typefounder, Peter de Walpergen) & solar imagery.
